Throughout the class, you’ll learn the basics of electrical wiring, including key concepts such as voltage, current, and resistance. You'll become familiar with important components like sockets, switches, wiring, and plugs, and how to choose the right materials for your project. Step-by-step, we’ll guide you through assembling your lamp circuit, ensuring it's both safe and functional. By the end of the class, you’ll finish with a fully assembled lamp circuit attached to a supplied lamp base, ready to light up your space. Christian Franczyk owns and operates CZYK Woodworks, a studio workshop specializing in custom furniture, built-ins, and fabrication projects. Christian’s sculptural work often focuses on lighting and light fixtures, exploring the dynamic interaction between the fixture and the user. His passion for designing lamps has fostered a deep appreciation for construction, particularly when it comes to working with electrical components and elements.
